- Asexual, a sexual orientation where a person does not experience sexual attraction
- Aromantic, the equivalent romantic orientation
- Aroace, an aromantic asexual
- Agender, a gender identity in which a person has no gender
The prefix "A" is also used for aplatonic, a term used by people who do not experience platonic attraction, and a-spec, a term used to encompass both asexual spectrum and aromantic spectrum.
