The fiaspec flag.

The Fiagender Spectrum or Fiaspec is an umbrella term for anyone on the "female" viabinary-to-binary spectrum. This includes anyone whose gender is female/wifgender, partly female (but not partly miaspec), female-aligned or adjacent, girlflux, or is similar to or in some way resembles femaleness. It is similar to, but not necessarily the same as fingender. Fingender includes genders that are related to femininity, but are not necessarily related to femaleness. Fiaspec includes genders that are related to femaleness (even if they are not feminine). They do not necessarily have to identify with notions of femininity or be feminine-aligned. Examples of fiaspec genders may include: binary women, non-binary woman, lunarian, demigirl, xirl, juxera, altegirl, etc. Fiagender can also be used as a gender on its own.

The state of having a fiagender or having a gender which exists on the fiagender spectrum is called fiaty.

History[edit | edit source]

Fiaspec was coined by momma-mogai-sphinx on March 24, 2019.[1] The flag was created on October 2, 2019.[2] The term was created as a shorter way to say "women, people who are partially women, or are woman-aligned".
