As you may have heard, I will soon be deleting pages that are deemed "not significant enough for a full page" by the new rules that have been recently implemented.
The main idea is that all of these pages fall under a category of "once you've seen one example you can figure out all the rest" so it is redundant to make multiple pages where no new information is given except for one or two words changing.
"Variation identities" should only be given their own page if they are especially significant, well known, unique (in name or definition), or new information is provided that cannot be put on any of the relevant pages.
The pages will be deleted on January 13, 2021.
The list of all the pages that will be deleted, and more specific reasons for deletion can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yWUn-eRoOO6V8IawiCA--xKRlwA4F3sQWRQC7lokjes/edit?usp=sharing
For admins: do NOT preemptively delete any of these pages. I will personally delete all of them when the time comes.
There is a page on the list that I don't think should be deleted.
Please comment here, or message me, explaining which page(s) you're talking about and why you believe the page is significant enough to not be deleted.
There is a page that is not on the list but I believe should be.
Please comment here, or message me, with the page(s) that I may have missed. If they do meet the requirements they will be added to the list.
What can I do to prepare?
If you wish to still note these identities you may add them to the original term's page. Just a single example sentence is enough in most cases. (See the last sentences of the boolegender page.) In some cases it may be appropriate to make subheadings for the individual variations on the original page. (See what I have done on the plerugender page.)
You may also help by preemptively removing links to these pages that exist on other pages.
It is not necessary to tag any of these pages with the "candidate for deletion" category.
